Steve Latkovic

Steve Latkovic is a co-founder of Lubav Ventures and Managing Partner of Candlewood Partners, a boutique investment bank, where he also serves as CEO of its broker-dealer, Candlewood Securities. A driving force at the firm since 2012, he specializes in structuring complex financial transactions — debt refinancing, growth capital, ownership transitions, and restructuring — along with acquisitions, valuation, and post-acquisition integration.

Steve holds a B.A. from George Washington University and a J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Beyond finance, he is a co-founder of All Flourish and Backrs, both focused on giving under-resourced and high-potential young people capital, networks, and mentorship, and he chaired the Planning Commission in South Russell, Ohio for over a decade. He and his wife, Anna, have four sons and live in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
